Bunzl has pledged to achieve net zero carbon emissions by 2050, with science-based targets already in place for 2030. Workwear Express is aligning operations, from energy use in our 150,000 sq ft Durham site to transport and packaging, to support these goals.
Our scale gives us responsibility. Every investment we make today, from supply chain to product development, is shaped by the Bunzl sustainability roadmap.

Renewable Energy

Bunzl aims for all packaging to be reusable, recyclable or compostable by 2025. At Workwear Express, we’re expanding ranges of recycled and ethically sourced workwear to give customers practical, lower-impact choices.
Waste Reduction
Group targets include cutting food and general waste by 50% by 2030. Locally, we recycle on site, reduce packaging where possible, and digitise processes to minimise paper use.
